Displaying Your Car in a Vehicle Exhibit
Many automobile organisations may invite you to display your car during an organised vehicle exhibit if you have a well-preserved or well-maintained ride that fits their theme. If you receive such invitation, you might want to prepare your beloved automobile to be shown to the world. Here are some tips so that yours will be the star of the show.
Start off by cleaning your car thoroughly. This involves hosing and wiping your machine as well as vigorous waxing and buffing so that your vehicle will literally sparkle in the sun. You also need to apply cleaning products to make your tyres look brand new. If the exhibit requires the engine to be shown off, clean your car's muscle until it is as spotless as the exterior. Do not forget to thoroughly tidy up the interior too.
If the organisation allows it, take great-quality pictures of your vehicle and frame them. It would also be a good idea to print some interesting information about your car on good quality paper. Have it printed and professionally framed. You may want to purchase a stand or two to display your photos and printed data. Viewers usually want to know more about the cars being displayed and your images and information will make your unit more interesting.
Finally, expose your automobile's interesting features. For instance, if your unit is a high-performance 1970s monster, then open up the hood to show off that power-packed muscle. If your convertible has an iconic dashboard, retract or fold the roof so people can admire that feature. You may want to ask the organiser if you could point some spotlights to exterior parts such as your car's large wheels, sleek racing line, or unusually shaped muffler.
